Hmn... I haven't really posted anything new in my DA account for a few months now...
just making an obvious observation.
Recently arrived in Tel-Aviv, Israel. Visiting my dad and my bro, maybe visit my old school and house too. Still suffering from jet-lag on the second day but so so so happy to be here!! I missed it so much (even though I paid a visit only a few months ago in december >.>;; ).

Anyway. Random update:
-Went to Israel(Tel-Aviv) for winter break to visit my bro and dad. It was pretty safe because Tel-Aviv is still out of the missile-range, so no problems there. My bro and I went to Acre (Akko), so fun. He was pretending to be Altair from Assassin's Creed >.>;; (good we went when we did, 'cause Israel got attacked from the north shortly after) <.<'''.
-Got a TV for the dorm (finally!). Flatscreen 19". It was cheap, but tax on it was around $40!! wtf?! l:c
-Ordered a PS3 (only reason I got a TV, virtually) and Little Big Planet .
-Classes are pretty cool. Except for that one day where I have classes from 9am to 9pm with only 2hrs in-between.
-earphones died, so I ordered a pair of red SkullCandy headphones (got a used pair, so pretty cheap ).
-Need to go to a real supermarket instead of just living on Rice and canned food from Walgreens (I still love you, Walgreens).
-Discovered some new songs to rock to (new to me). like Kids by MGMT and a bunch of songs by the Killers.
-Someone lent me a Wii, playing that until PS3 comes.
-looking into making my own chocolate molds from weird plasticky mold clay (healthy for chocolate-making uses).

!!!!! so many things waiting in the mail. excited

However, I'm looking for an alternative to PayPal, which made my $50 disappear some time ago. I looked up Google Checkout which a friend of mine suggested, however it seems to be just as bad.. (seizing money for no reason, etc.).
I want some money without getting a job dammit! (or at least for now, since I'm really really busy with schoolwork). Going to try to make some plushies or something during my winter break.

ok, now for a real update (yes, I'm spamming your mailbox. deal with it).

I'm stuck in some deep shit right now. But there may be an easier way out of this.
Apparently (and I'm the biggest idiot in the world for not realizing this sooner and/or not paying much attention to it) there are barely any classes in SAIC (school of the art institute of Chicago) that involve Animation or Game Design (the two areas I want a career in some day).

sooo..... I have two possible options:
1. Transfter to another school (BIG pain in the ass/risky)
2. See if I can take classes in these fields through another school (if this is possible).

I'm going to talk to my academic advisor real soon. But if there is no way I can take classes that involve these subjects, then I'll have to look into doing a transfer....

If anyone is in a good school that has a lot of animation and game design, or knows someone who might know a lot about this, leave a comment.

P.S: this school is REALLY into conceptual stuff. Like "paint a canvas red and paste some feathers on it to show your feelings" sort of thing. Which I AM NOT into at all. but that's beside the point >_>;;
